I have read other books by this author and she never fails to deliver. 

This book we meet our main character Andrei out on a job. We see him again going up against a powerful Russian bidding on an young lady. Andrei knows he has to out bid him because he knows the young lady's fate of death is sealed if he wins this young lady.

The young lady we meet is Cassie. She is 18 years old. Has lead a life of solitude basically as she is home schooled and lives in a quite church community.

Andrei seems like the perfect gentleman with Cassie. He knows how sheltered her life has been. He doesn't seem to take advantage of her. Andrei takes her shoppimg, takes her to see the city, and tries to show her what the world really looks like, it's not as sheltered as she grew up with.

Cassie is a young naive girl. She doesn't know what things are. But that's not her fault at all, it was just how she was raised. Her parents thought that hiding the world from her would protect her when it actually seems to have hurt her.

Cassie and Andrei do seem to have great connection with each other. Andrei is very open and honest with her. He is patient and kind to her as well.

Why would the parents sell their young daughter in exchange for money if they live such quite God fairing life? How did the father get into so much debt that he had to sell her?

I have already read several other Hitman by Alexis Abbott, and I know to expect a over the top Alpha hero who would do everything to protect their women. Sold to the Hitman did not disappoint I adored Andrei and Cassie their relationship was steamy and easy. Cassie is being sold at an auction, she is a very sheltered girl who was raised to believe that just about everything is a sin. She is expected to do as her father says, but he trades her to pay off a debt. Andrei is working as a bodyguard at the auction and as soon as he sees Cassie he has to save her so he bids and wins her hand in marriage.
This story is a real adventure Cassie is thrown into a world she has no clue about, I think she adapts a little to quickly , or it was sped up in the story that she was ok with all the sins within a day of marriage.Their is a ton of action and Andrei doing his job as a hitman, that Cassie has no clue about, it keep me entertained and I had to finish it in one sitting.Keep the bad boys coming .
This is the story about Andrei, a Russian Hitman and Cassie, a young lady who was sold by her own parents. So Andrei was asked by his boss to be a "bouncer" for an auction that was attended by the super rich. What he did not know was that, it is people that were being auctioned off. Cassie lived with his parents who were supposedly God fearing and led a quiet life. Cassie's father somehow found himself into debt and he decided to auction off his 18 year old Virgin daughter without her knowledge. When Andrei saw Cassie at the auction, he had a strange feeling of protection towards her to he ended up bidding on her and winning her. Will his boss forgive him for doing that and wil they be able to avoid and escape from the other people who are after Andrei. This book was well written and it captives you from the very beginning. Thank you Alexis for writing such an awesome book! I'm looking forward to reading more books from this author.
OMG I loved this story! It had me sitting on the edge of my seat biting my nails all the way to the end. Andrei is a hitman for the Bratva. When we meet him, He's playing security for a sleaze-ball who is supposed to be his boss. He knows it going to be something big just not what it is. When he realizes it's a slave auction of young innocent girls. One of them, number seven has a catch to bidding on her though. She goes to the highest bidder but as a bride and must be married at home in her family church.When Andrei realizes all the horrible things the bidders are planning to do to her, he decides he has to stop it. The only way to do that is to make sure he gets in on the biddinghimself and make sure he wins even though he definitely is not supposed to even bid. Number seven whose name is Cassie is just 18 and has been raised in a puritanical way with no contact with the outside world. She has no idea that her parents could have done this to her to get the money. Andrei is determined to make everything up to her and hopefully make her happy. It turns in to a beautiful but dark and dangerous love story. Alexis Abbott has me sold!
I loved the characters in this book. Andrei is a hit man and is not who you would expect as the hero in an story, yet to Cassie, he becomes the one and only person she can rely upon. Cassie has been raised in a very sheltered and completely chaste lifestyle. She was expected to always yield to her husband as the man who makes every decision for her because men know what is best. She was expected to always keep a modest appearance, so when he father tells her she is to be married, she doesn't object, even when she is stripped down and auctioned off to the highest bidder.
She goes willingly to her new husband despite her trepidation. It's not in her nature to question whatever her husband tells her.
Suddenly her husband thrusts her into a carnal world where she discovers she is excited by the new desires she experiences for the first time. It's shaken this young beauty to her core, but what will happen between her and the husband who awakened all these forbidden desires?
It's a unique perspective and surprisingly good relationship that develops between Cassie and Andrei.
I loved the story and characters. Its got drama, desire and an unlikely love story I simply couldn't resist. I am certain you will love it too!
